Ranger Spells

Rule-only reference for ranger spells in Wyrdwood. Spell Focus and Greater Spell Focus effects are included where they change the spell.

Level 1

  • Cure Light Wounds: Heals 1d8 + caster level.
  • Entangle: Unchanged.
  • Grease: Persistent area; Reflex or knockdown. Greater Spell Focus: Conjuration increases duration to 10 rounds. Only one Grease area can exist in an area at a time.
  • Resist Elements: Resist 30 against acid, cold, fire, electricity, and sonic, up to 60 total per type.
  • Summon Creature I: Summons a dire badger for 24 hours.
  • Ultravision: Ultravision for 1 hour per level.
  • Camouflage: +10 Hide and 40% concealment for 10 turns per level.
  • Magic Fang: Enhances a companion or summon's natural attacks.

Level 2

  • Cat's Grace: +1d4 + 1 Dexterity for 1 hour per level.
  • Hold Animal: Unchanged.
  • Protection from Elements: Resist 40 against acid, cold, fire, electricity, and sonic, up to 80 total per type.
  • Sleep: Will negates; affects up to 1d4 total Hit Dice of creatures under 6 HD, starting with the weakest.
  • Summon Creature II: Summons a dire boar for 24 hours.
  • One with the Land: Sanctuary effect for 1 round per level.

Level 3

  • Aid: +2 attack, +1 to all saves, and 2d8 temporary hit points for 1 turn per level.
  • Cure Moderate Wounds: Heals 2d8 + caster level.
  • Invisibility Purge: Unchanged.
  • Neutralize Poison: Unchanged.
  • Remove Disease: Unchanged.
  • Summon Creature III: Summons a dire wolf for 24 hours.
  • Greater Magic Fang: Enhances a companion or summon's natural attacks.
  • Blade Thirst: Unchanged.

Level 4

  • Cure Serious Wounds: Heals 3d8 + caster level.
  • Freedom of Movement: Unchanged.
  • Polymorph Self: Unchanged.
  • Summon Creature IV: Summons a dire spider for 24 hours.
  • Mass Camouflage: Friendly area buff granting +10 Hide and 20% concealment for 10 turns per level.
